The Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General is now recruiting for an Assistant Professional Researcher. The areas of specialization and responsibilities for this position includes - Molecular parasitology, ideally with experience studying the molecular genetics of malaria parasites.
Required qualifications: • PhD in molecular parasitology and at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience pursing this subject area. • Publication of at least 15 papers in peer-reviewed journals on this subject area.
Preferred qualifications: • Track record of independent research. • Completion of post-doctoral fellowship. • History of potential to develop a sustained source of research funding.
