Performs duties necessary to maintain campus grounds, including lawns, shrubs, flowers, trees, etc.; cleans campus areas; maintains athletic fields. This is a critical position during weather emergencies Other job related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent and three years experience in landscaping grounds or nursery farming.
Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance and be able to drive a stick-shift vehicle. Will need a copy of driving record from DMV.
Physical requirements: May require physical work: heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of objects over 75 pounds. Ability to stoop. squat and bend. Required to report for snow/ice removal regardless of time of day or day of week. Works in all weather conditions including excessive heat/cold, rain, snow, etc.
Independent work habits.
Work with minimal supervision.
