Provide strong leadership for all areas of the men’s and women’s cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field programs.
Responsible for the organization, planning, teaching, and coaching of all practices and games.
Improve student-athletes skill development through practice and meets.
Oversee the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of quality student-athletes within the University, Atlantic 10 Conference and NCAA policies.
Hire, train, and supervise assistant coaches and staff.
Manage the annual operating budget and respective fund raising gift account.
Fund raise to support the program and operating budget.
Represent the University at internal and external marketing, public relations, and fund raising events as requested.
Maintain strong university relationships with admissions, financial aid, and residential life, dining services, development office and the office of academic advising.
Compliance with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference and University rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
A commitment to adhering to all policies, rules, and regulations of Fordham University, the Atlantic 10 Conference and the NCAA is required.
3-5 years successful coaching and recruiting experience with knowledge of NCAA rules required.
Must be extremely well organized with strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
