Part Time; Career Salary Range: $23.22-$26.67 hourly. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Under the requirements of the Center for Computational Experience, the incumbent will provide administrative/analytical support to the Research Director, and as necessary, to faculty, visiting scholars, graduate student researchers, and staff personnel affiliated with the Center in all matters, including those which are confidential and which involve Higher university officials, employees, campus members, faculty, graduate students, industry partners, granting agencies and foundations, and community. The incumbent will be responsible for Center event coordination, web content maintenance and social media presence, and will assist in information gathering for the preparation of grant proposals, and in the tracking of budgets and preparation of reports for grants received by the Center. The candidate will also provide administrative analysis of matters having a financial impact on the Center using knowledge of administrative University organization, policies, procedures, and practices. In addition to providing administrative support for the Center, the incumbent will be responsible for ongoing communication with potential and current external funding bodies, financial reporting, supervising student workers, and general reception.
Ability to work a variable work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Bachelor's Degree or substantial related experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills sufficient to initiate and maintain good working relationships with researchers, students, staff, and funders. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
Ability to research, analyze, and assimilate a variety of information from oral and written sources and present it in oral or written form. Excellent keyboard/word processing skills, to generate written documents/presentations.
Writing skills sufficient to compose and edit a variety of documents using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, with close attention to detail.
The ability and flexibility to coordinate and oversee a complex executive level appointment calendar, prioritize assignments and organize work, demonstrate initiative and follow through in an accurate and timely manner; solve problems; work cooperatively; and consult with other staff members.
