Provide support across multiple functions in the Office of Alumni Relations, which requires the ability to prioritize multiple projects according to deadlines and the ability to exercise Independence judgement. Main responsibilities will focus around alumni communication, engagement planning, volunteer management and data analytics.
The Office of Alumni Relations supports the College's Office of Advance and is responsible for the identification, cultivation, and engagement of College alumni and future alumni.
Work collaboratively with departments across campus to ensure that projects are completed according to deadlines, with accuracy, quality, and integrity. Including continuously compile, review and analyze project outcomes against established goals, objectives and timelines with team.
Assist in coordination of events to engage alumni and students.
Prepare materials for engagement activities to include producing name-tags, emails, invitations and letters.
Work collaboratively with Student Alumni Association and Annual Giving Officer to coordinate a student philanthropy program.
Provide assistance in tracking and analyzing alumni engagement efforts.
Manage alumni Instagram account to highlight programming, people and College mission. Including continuously compiling and reviewing analytics.
Coordinate efforts for the Distinguished Alumni Awards.
Support efforts in development, preparation, and coordination of volunteer committee structures, meetings, preparation of materials, and other relate activities.
A. Education & Experience
Minimum bachelor's degree
One to three years work experience with progressive responsibility in communication, development or higher education.
Strong, accurate, production-oriented skills
Knowledge of AP Style and effective writing and editing skills for web and print
B. Technical Skills/Abilities
Expert in Microsoft Office
Experience with Content Management Systems (Cascade and NXT preferred but not required)
Experience with Adobe Suite (to include Photoshop & InDesign)
Experience with donor management software (Raiser's Edge, NXT preferred but not required)
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Capable of handling multiple tasks and managing deadlines

Good oral communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Highly motivated, professional team player with courteous interpersonal skills and an excellent customer service attitude
