Assistant Clinical Professor, Part- Time Regional Coordinator, Pharmacy Practice
Position Description: The Assistant Clinical Professor position is a part-time, non-tenure track appointment at the University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The faculty serves as a member in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and the Regional Coordinator of the Monterey region, in California. The position is based in a service area that spans the Monterey Coastal region. The responsibilities of the faculty are to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, supervise senior Pharm.D. students during their experiential rotations, teach didactic and experiential courses, facilitate interprofessional education, schedule rotation sites for students assigned to their region, advise students, provide clinical or professional expertise to the host institution, develop new sites or rotations, and provide orientation, support and preceptor development to volunteer and adjunct faculty.
Basic Qualifications: Must be licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in California.
EDUCATION: A Pharm.D. with residency and/or fellowship, or equivalent experience is required.
Additional Qualifications: Strong leadership and clinical practice experience, ethical conduct, professionalism, multicultural and diversity competence, management abilities, and effective interpersonal communication skills are required. Travel to various clinical sites required. Occasional travel to Stockton campus for meetings and collaboration.
