FACULTY POSITION DESCRIPTION Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Family and Community Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine, UCSF January 2020
Appointment As: Assistant, Associate, or Full HS Clinical Professor or Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine, depending on experience and qualifications. FCM is a National Health Service Corps site and this position may qualify for loan repayment assistance under this program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES This is a core faculty position in Family and Community Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Proposed job responsibilities include direct patient care; teaching; and administration. Final job description will be written at time of determining terms of faculty appointment.
Qualifications: Must be certified (or board eligible) by the American Board of Family Medicine and have (or be eligible for) a valid California medical license. Must have previous teaching and/or curricular development experience. Prior experience and commitment to working with underserved populations, racially and ethnically diverse patients and staff is essential. Applicant must have all requirements met by time of hire.
