The CARES Institute at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) in Stratford, New Jersey is currently seeking a highly motivated pediatric clinician to provide inpatient child abuse medical consultation services.
The physician will participate in county-based multidisciplinary teams, convene the regional child death review team, and provide professional training to child protective services, law enforcement and the courts.
Applicants will be expected to provide supervision to trainees, contribute to training efforts, and work collaboratively with a team of dedicated medical and mental health child abuse professionals with respect to training, research, programmatic, and service delivery efforts.
Candidates must hold a D.O. or M.D. degree and be either AOA or ABMS Board Certified in Pediatrics with specialty training or experience in the area of Child Abuse.
