Responsibilities Under the direction of the Medical Center EDOD, the Fundraising Manager 1 designs, implements and administers fundraising programs supporting the UC Davis Children's Hospital. Identifies new corporate and individual donor prospects through researching background information on potential donors and develops case statements, develops marketing plans and organizes fundraising programs/events; cultivates, stewards and solicits donor prospects.
Manages a comprehensive fundraising program for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at UC Davis Children's Hospital.
In collaboration with EDOD and CMN Hospitals Regional Director, establish and execute annual strategic plan to further the awareness and fundraising for the hospital.
Implements and manages fundraising programs and strategies to successfully meet predetermined goals and objectives, ensuring predetermined fundraising goals are met. Strategically grow existing programs and initiate new programs, events and partnerships as they are developed by CMN Hospitals.
Oversees and manages the identification, cultivation and solicitation of corporate partners, individual donors and donor prospects with a focus on major gifts, defined as asks of $50,000+.
Prepare and write fundraising plans, including fundraising strategies, timeline and gift tables; and set goals for the implementation of gift solicitations. Ensure appropriate stewardship recognition of corporate donors and volunteers through proactive stewardship program planning.
Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards major corporate gift prospects to create a portfolio and proactively engages in direct face-to-face meetings with corporate donors and prospects (or their representatives) to build relationships that will result in the solicitation and closing of major gifts.
Works in close conjunction with CMN Hospitals Account Directors to build and steward relationships with local managers as well as regional and district leadership of top CMN Hospitals partners i.e. media, corporate, event and programs.
Evaluates campaign and program quality and success in collaboration with CMN Hospitals' leadership through the Performance Metrics Report and Partnership Value Report process and using these measurements to guide future plans and strategies.
Exercises creativity to expand on existing campaign or program components to increase fundraising potential.
