The Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Neuro-Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Tenure status will be determined based on qualifications. Responsibilities include leading the Neuro-oncology section, setting the direction of the section in alignment with the goals of the Division and the Department of Pediatrics. The candidate will participate in inpatient oncology services as well as outpatient clinics, including satellite outreach clinics. Participation in resident and fellow teaching is an integral part of this position. The expanding program provides excellent opportunities for basic, translational or clinical research and program development within neuro-oncology.
Qualified candidates will have an MD or DO and be board certified or board eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology with expertise in neuro-oncology and must be licensed in the State of Illinois to practice without restriction and be eligible to work in the United States. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications.
