Licensed in professional nursing (if not in the State of Oregon, must be able to obtain prior to start) Earned or in progress doctorate in nursing or related field with five years of progressive experience in higher education; eligible for rank at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level Demonstrated experience in leading change in academic settings Demonstrated experience in simulation and academic technology applications to nursing education in a variety of programs/levels Demonstrated experience in setting performance standards, developing metrics, and in program evaluation Ability to inspire change, equal ability to be visible and comfortable in urban, rural, and frontier communities and across the care continuum. Ability to balance academic decorum with approachability and accessibility for faculty, student, academic, and community stakeholders.
