The Hartley Lab (PI: Catherine Hartley) at New York University seeks a postdoctoral associate to work on neuroimaging and behavioral studies examining value-based learning and decision-making across development. The laboratory, located within the Department of Psychology, provides access to an excellent research and training environment.
Strong applicants will have:
- Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology or a related field - Experience in acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting brain imaging data (e.g., FSL, SPM, AFNI, or similar platforms) - Expertise using computational approaches in the study of learning and decision-making - Demonstrated ability to complete projects, as evidenced by first-author publications - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills - Strong programming, statistical, and technical skills (e.g., Matlab, Python, R) - Experience and/or interest in conducting research in developmental populations (children, adolescents)
