Economics: Associate or Full Professor - Applied Econometrics/Econometrics (open until filled, initial review 11/23/20)
The Economics Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for a position in applied econometrics or econometrics at the Associate or Full Professor (tenured) levels. We also welcome applications from candidates with research in applied fields whose portfolio includes significant contributions to econometrics.
The Economics Department has a Ph.D. program, a professional Master's program, and several undergraduate programs. Applicants will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; contribute to graduate education, the research environment of the department, and to university and professional service.
Successful candidates must be able to work with students, faculty and staff from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds. ACADEMIC TITLE Associate or Full Professor (tenure-track), academic year (9-month) basis.
SALARY Commensurate with qualifications and experience; academic year (nine-month basis).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Ph.D. or equivalent foreign degree in Economics or related field; demonstrated research experience in applied econometrics or econometrics; demonstrated record of teaching; and demonstrated record of service.
POSITION AVAILABLE July 1, 2021, with the academic year beginning in September 2021 and contingent upon budgetary approval.
