The Saloner lab at the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is looking for a researcher who is interested in an Assistant, Associate or Full Professional Researcher position at UCSF. This position requires development of advanced postprocessing and analysis methods for the evaluation of cardiovascular disease. Methods for extracting and segmenting vascular structures from advanced MR and CT imaging techniques will be developed and applied to data sets for a variety of cardiovascular disorders from multi-center studies. Advanced numerical algorithms that include the application of machine learning techniques will be utilized.
The applicant will require a PhD level degree in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science or a closely related field.
The applicant should have more than 3 years of experience working in the application of software postprocessing methods to cardiovascular applications.
