UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking to hire a full time vascular and endovascular neurosurgeon at UCSF Parnassus and Mission Bay Campuses. Formal fellowship training in endovascular neurosurgery is required with training to perform neurointerventional treatment of all cranial and spinal disorders. Additional fellowship training in open vascular neurosurgery is also preferred but not required. The candidate must be willing to participate in open cerebrovascular surgical procedures as well. Candidate must have an interest in cerebrovascular research involving outcome based studies in cerebrovascular disorders and/or translational research of cerebrovascular disease. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching, and research. The selected candidate is expected to participate in resident and fellow education. Candidate must be MD or MD/PhD.
