The University of Iowa College of Nursing has limited opportunity for Associate Rank Faculty positions. As a major research university, we are well positioned to support individuals who show promise for potential appointment to the tenure track. This appointment provides a period of engagement in teaching and research prior to formal application for a tenure track appointment as an assistant professor.
Signature areas of research in the College of Nursing align with our three Centers of Excellence and include gerontology; health systems, technology, and informatics; and multimorbidity, pain, and symptom science. Cross cutting approaches and developing areas of strength include applied genomics/omics/biomarkers, palliative care, vulnerable populations and community engagement. Applications will be considered in all areas and across populations, with priority for population health, epidemiology, and child and women's health emphases.
