The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor Level on Tenure Track to design, develop, and maintain research projects in Rhinology. The major responsibility will be the development of an independent research program, with emphasis in the computational fluid dynamics modelling of the upper airway. The selected candidate will design, develop, implement, and maintain this program, including incorporating feedback from clinicians. This position will also collaborate with department researchers and clinicians and provide research project mentorship for residents and medical students as appropriate for the position's field of research and expertise.
Education and Experience:
The applicant should have 1 year of collaboration with clinicians, and 1 year of experience in obtaining external funding.
