Dr. Tina Sadarangani is seeking a full-time research assistant to play a key role in her NIH funded R21 mixed-methods study entitled Bridging Communication Gaps between Primary Care Providers and Adult Day Service Centers to Reduce Emergency Department Use and Hospitalizations among Persons with Dementia. This position will report directly to Dr. Sadarangani.
Job responsibilities will include management and cleaning of quantitative data, management and coding of qualitative data, scheduling interviews, focus groups, and expert panels, contributing to and assisting with the preparation and submission of manuscripts, and handling various administrative tasks (e.g. reimbursements) to ensure the project runs smoothly and meets a very tight timeline. The ideal candidate must be self-directed, enthusiastic about public health, and eager to learn.
Experience conducting scientific research and handling administrative tasks
Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
Experience in mixed-methods research (both qualitative and quantitative) is preferred, as is experience in a clinical/healthcare setting.
