UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER'S Department of Family Medicine is seeking a full-time, Board Certified Palliative Care physician at our unopposed (8-8-8) residency program. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position. We seek an energetic, enthusiastic Palliative Care physician that loves to teach and wants to make a difference in the lives of students, residents and practicing physicians along with patients, families and the community. Our unique staffing model will consist of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, and Pharm-D.
Duties include in-patient consultative services and outpatient clinic. Additional duties include teaching students, residents, and fellows, patient care, administration, community service, and research.
Our physicians perform a variety of inpatient and outpatient procedures. We receive the best support from Saint Francis Hospital and UT.
Qualified applicants should hold the MD/DO degree, be board-certified, and have proven experience as a physician, leader, and clinician-educator.
Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
