The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting an outstanding epilepsy physician-scientist to join an established epilepsy group. Candidates with research interests in network stimulation, seizures, epilepsy, and cognition and a biomedical engineering background are preferred. This full-time position is offered in the Clinical Neurology series at the Assistant rank.

The individual must possess an MD/PhD
Experience conducting scholarly/clinical/translational research
California medical license or license eligibility
Board certified/eligible in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Candidates must have completed fellowship training in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology (epilepsy track)
Individuals should have experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ICU neurology
Must have demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment; adhere to policies and procedures; and University/public service.
Research interests in network stimulation, seizures, epilepsy, and cognition with a background in biomedical engineering
Evidence of success in obtaining extramural funding and/or administering clinical trials
