Job Description The Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University is inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level. The Assistant Professor will be appointed as faculty member of the Area of Neuroscience, specifically under the Division of Systems Neuroscience. In this context, you will work with the Columbia and NYSPI faculty to develop and implement a research program relevant to Systems Neurosciences. We seek candidates whose research is focused on cognitive/affective, computational, and neural mechanisms of human behaviors relevant to psychiatric disorders. Key Responsibilities: - Research and grant proposal writing -Interfacing with PIs to develop or import new experiments, or apply existing experiments in new ways - Teaching and mentoring graduate and postdoctoral students -Advising on study design and data analysis -Maintaining/troubleshooting equipment and tests, coordinating users within the facility, tracking quantitative and qualitative metrics and service fees
