Indiana University School of Nursing, Bloomington (IUSON-BL) campus invites nominations and applications for full-time, tenure track faculty positions at the assistant / associate professor rank. Research, teaching, and service are expectations for appointment to the tenure track. IUSON-BL has 2 current openings for qualified tenure track / tenure eligible researchers that show evidence of an emerging or established program of research with the potential for extramural funding with a record of peer-reviewed, high-quality publications in the following areas: health services research with a health outcomes or nursing workforce focus; community-based participatory research; rural health; translational research; or nursing education. Chronic disease management or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing backgrounds preferred.
Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master's degree in nursing, with teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate students in the classroom, skills laboratory, simulation, or clinical sites. .. Candidates should have an established program of research with potential for extramural funding as noted above. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN or advanced practice licensure, with certification in specialty preferred. Appointment to academic rank and salary dependent on evidence for scholarly, teaching, and service achievements.
