Postdoctoral Associate / Assistant or Associate Research Scientist
The NYU Dentistry Department of Molecular Pathobiology is accepting applications for a Post Doctoral Associate / Assistant or Associate Research Scientist. The successful candidate will join the research team at Dr. Evgeny Pavlov's laboratory. The group's primary research focus is on the investigation of cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial function.
Qualified candidates will possess an undergraduate or advanced degree in Physics, Chemistry or Biology. Prior experience working in a research laboratory is desirable. For the Associate Research Scientist level, it is expected that candidate will be proficient in some of the following laboratory techniques: tissue culture, protein biochemistry, imaging, electrophysiology, or molecular biology.
The duties will include participation in research projects, assisting with experiments to the group's other members, general lab maintenance and management.
