The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to perform administrative support duties related to the collection of clinical data and/or the coordination of clinical studies. Work under supervision of the principal investigators and/or study coordinator.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or above in psychology, epidemiology, public health, neuroscience, human biology, or another related area with an interest in developing expertise in conducting longitudinal neurocognitive and behavioral clinical studies/trials in cancer patients and survivors.
Assist with administrative regulatory tasks such as progress reports, protocol creation and updates, IRB and SRC preparation and obtaining approvals, helping coordinate the study with multiple sites across the US
Assist in training meetings with other participating sites, maintain study records and logs, complete necessary training to conduct research with human subjects
Assist with training and documentation of coordinators and interventionists at other remote sites
Scheduling and executing study visits, recruiting human subjects for the study.
Conducting and scoring neuropsychological assessments.
Piloting and co-piloting MRI scans
Putting study procedure materials together and managing study regulatory requirements.
Making reminder phone calls, administering questionnaires, entering data, and other procedural tasks as needed.
Assist in scheduling and collecting blood samples from participants at a local laboratory

Completed Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant clinical research experience.
One year full-time equivalent clinical research experience.
Past experience working with clinical populations.
Past experience conducting MRI scans.
Past experience administering and scoring neuropsychological tests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and independent problem-solving ability.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to set independently priorities, coordinate with multiple team members, work in a fast-paced environment, and exercise sound judgement in setting priorities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Two year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED): General knowledge of medical terminology.
Frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use fine light/fine grasping.
Occasionally sit, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, use a telephone and write by hand, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, sort and file paperwork or parts, rarely lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh 40 pounds or more.
