We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist with excellent work ethic to join a NIH-funded group and work on projects to discover the mechanisms that regulate the interaction between microbiome and immune cells under normal and diseased conditions. The applicant is expected to work independently as well as in collaboration with other group members to complete projects in a timely manner.
The candidate should have received a Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences or related field within the last 5 years. Hands-on experience in molecular biology and cell culture (primary cell culture and differentiation) are required. Familiarity with flow cytometry and FACS cell sorter is highly desirable. Priority will be given to candidates with strong oral communication and writing skills, as evidenced by a strong publication record.
