Postdoctoral Researcher, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. William Glover at NYU Shanghai. Research projects include developing and using multiphysics excited-state ab initio dynamics methods to understand the response of biological molecules to radiation spanning the visible to X-ray regions. Particular systems of interest include fluorescent proteins, DNA, solvated electrons, and photosynthetic light-harvesting complexes. An emphasis of this work is in making direct connection to experiment by simulating observables. To achieve these goals, we develop cutting-edge computational tools, including Graphical Processing Unit (GPU)-based quantum chemistry code.
