Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, database administration, records management, or a correlated field.

• At least three years' work experience in database management/analysis and report writing. Experience within the fundraising or higher education environment preferred.

• Proficiency in managing donor and constituent databases. Proficiency in database administration, prospect and constituent management, data imports and exports, and developing reports. Experience in SQL programming preferred.

• Should have some knowledge of applicable tax laws, basic accounting, the fundraising process, and the concept of donor relations.

• Ability to make presentations and train individuals in software applications is highly desirable.

• Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.

• Ability to work cross functionally in a small team-based environment.

• Experience with Crystal Reports is highly desirable.

• Ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.

• Ability to both plan for and respond strategically to threats and opportunities.

• The finalist will be required to successfully pass a background check.
