Assistant Professor - Surgery, Knoxville - 210000003C
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TN
The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine - UTGSM, the Department of Surgery, and The University of Tennessee (UT) Transplant Center at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville are searching for a fellowship-trained Transplant Surgeon to join the faculty in the Division of Transplant Surgery. This is a full-time clinical appointment with an associated non-tenure-track academic position commensurate with experience and level of academic interest.
The responsibilities of this position include supporting program initiatives of the Kidney Transplant Program, participation in the long-term management of kidney transplant recipients, and providing surgical coverage for transplant surgery, living donation, and deceased organ recovery.
The candidate must be a board-certified or eligible general surgeon with interest in clinical or basic science research and postgraduate medical education.
