Academic Transplant Nephrologist Division of Nephrology University of California / San Francisco
The Division of Nephrology at the University of California /San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a full-time faculty candidate at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the Parnassus Campus with the Kidney Transplant Unit. The UCSF program performs over 300 kidney transplants each year.
Candidate must have demonstrated skills in clinical renal transplantation. The position will include a large degree of clinical responsibility but there will be time also for academic pursuits. The appointment will be made in the Adjunct, Health Science Clinical or the Clinical X series depending on experience.
Applicants must have an MD (or equivalent) degree/be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and have successfully completed an AST Accredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship or have equivalent experience.
