Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Location: Hyde Park Campus
Efficient processing of research specimens for testing.
Record all information on logs consistently and legibly.
Collect and label multiple sample types.
Perform chemical analysis on specimens.
Centrifuge and aliquot specimens.
Perform, monitor, and document quality control for all testing.
Perform and document routine instrument maintenance and calibrations; troubleshoot instrument problems.
Process samples referenced to outside labs.
Provides technical and administrative support for a research project.
Assists with the installation, sets up and performs experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
Performs other related work as needed.
Two years of relevant research experience. Â
Knowledge in relevant scientific field.
Knowledge of research techniques or methods.
Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures.
Attention to detail.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
