Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physician Assistant will be working at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group Department of Gastroenterology with 8 Gastroenterologists and 1 Physician Assistant in an outpatient setting. Physician Assistant independently obtains a relevant health and medical history
Performs a physical examination based on age and history and dictates a progress note if needed with the appropriate physicians
Performs and/or orders preventive and diagnostic procedures based on the patient's age and history
Physician Assistant will help physicians provide screening, consultation and answers to incoming questions from referring physicians
Identifies health and medical risk factors
Bachelor's degree and graduate of ARC-PA Program
Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants
ACLS/BLS from American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of GI experience strongly preferred
