Plans, manages, and evaluates technical operations of broadcasting and production studio services. Coordinates activities concerned with acquisition, installation, maintenance, or modification of studio and broadcasting equipment. Evaluates need for new broadcasting equipment; inspects and coordinates testing and maintenance of studio and remote broadcasting equipment.
Bachelor's degree; four years of broadcast engineer or IT engineer-related experience. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure; well organized, strong sense of responsibility. Ability to be on call in case of disasters or off-air situations.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; training in sophisticated electronics, management, broadcast transmitting systems, digital broadcast systems, microwave, audio, and video signal processing distribution and switching. Training in computer hardware, software, and networking.
