This key administrative position is responsible for managing the daily operational/administrative tasks, physical facilities management, human resource activities and financial monitoring for the Center for Gerontology and Health Care Research and the Center for Long-Term Quality & Innovation.Â In addition, the position will assist in ensuring a high level of service is provided to Center investigators with pre and post award activities, interpreting/monitoring university compliance policies, operational conflict resolution, and supervision of the financial assistant and financial coordinator.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree with at least 3-5 years of administration and finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and budgets.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Strong organizational, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Works well under pressure and deadlines.
Fluency in Excel spreadsheets required.
Grants management experience preparing and monitoring research
Willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
