The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon to join a high functioning faculty practice serving the state of North Carolina and beyond. This role will have an emphasis on functional neurosurgery to include treatment of Epilepsy and Parkinson's. The department also seeks a candidate with a track record and motivation to participate in resident education and clinical research endeavors.
This is an open rank faculty position with UNC-Chapel Hill, and rank and salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. While this position will be based in Chapel Hill, the Department provides advanced adult neurosurgery services in Chapel Hill and at a growing number of regional offices that include Hillsborough, Pinehurst, and Rocky Mount. We offer pediatric services in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Pinehurst and Wilmington. The neurosurgery facilities include a state-of- the-art spine and imaging center that offers a full range of treatment options and an on- site team.
Education and Experience:
Board-certified or board-eligible in neurosurgery; must have – or be eligible for – North Carolina medical license. Must have completed an appropriately accredited neurosurgery fellowship.
