Department: Alumni Relations & Development Salary/Grade: NEX/10
Responsible for and oversight of a variety of administrative responsibilities including: donor correspondence and stewardship; gift reporting; leadership briefings; research; database management; invoice and reimbursement processing; and coordination of event invitations and logistics.
This position supports the School of Education and Social Policy as well as the Office of Research, which are two development teams within Alumni Relations and Development.
Documents & Databases
Proofs for spelling & grammar.
Updates and manipulates spreadsheets &/or databases.
Compiles routine reports, statistics, tables, charts, etc. from readily available information.
Enters, tracks, & maintains documentation & logs of financial transactions.
Ensures that charges have posted to appropriate accounts.
Investigates & resolves discrepancies.
Coordinates supervisor's &/or dept calendar.
Coordinates events which may include scheduling rooms &/or guest speaker & arranging for routine materials, technology & refreshments.
Represents supervisor in routine/standard situations with various levels of personnel both internally & externally.
Performs other duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or its equivalent along with 2 years of administrative support experience is required.
Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
Intermediate knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs is required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle confidential information.
