The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for providing credentialing of enrollment and academic standing and other dated documentation for currently enrolled medical students. This position will provide detailed credentialing and verification documentation of MD degree in various formats including professional medical licenses for graduates of The Warren Alpert Medical School going as far back as the first MD Class of 1975. Work with other members of the Medical School Records and Registration team to keep abreast of current record databases and changing student status. Additionally, the Credentialing Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Office of Medical Education and Records and Registration.

Education and Experience
Associates degree required plus 1-2 years of related experience, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
Experience working in higher education preferred
Experience with standard Licensing Board procedures, enrollment standards, the process for academic status changes (fellowship/LOA), and procedures for academic warning/probationary status preferred.
Possesses a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive campus communityÂ
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Must have a high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail in work and strong ability to multitask
Ability to pull information from multiple documents into a cohesive history and timeline for an MD graduate for licensing purposes, some being more complex and in-depth than others
Must be able to complete tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and complying with Licensing Board and hospital standards
Ability to work with multiple electronic databases
Experience editing webpages
Strong customer service skills
Ability to prioritize workload independently
Thorough knowledge of enrollment standards and the process for academic status changes (fellowship/LOA), knowledge of procedures for academic warning/probationary status
