The Associate Director for Systems and Compliance will work in a fast-paced team environment and supervises a team of professionals, including two direct reports, to support the recruitment and retention efforts of Boston University. This person serves as the primary resource for financial assistance staff on the interpretation and application of state and federal regulations for program administration, needs analysis, and reporting. The Associate Director provides supervision and guidance related to systems, federal aid processing, and CSS Profile processing. This position is a key member of the senior management team that assists the executive director in overall management of the office, including technology development, goal setting, policy making, and improving processes focused on enhancing the student experience.

A bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) is required for this position, master's preferred
The candidate should have at least three years of management experience and must have prior knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies and procedures, including familiarity with federal verification requirements
Successful applicants will also exhibit excellent analytical and organization skills, effective problem-solving skills, and strong leadership and communications skills
Applicants must have Microsoft Excel proficiency
