ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR COMMUNICATIONS , Admissions and Student Financial Services , to join a communications team of six. This is a graphic design position, responsible for translating a strong creative vision into innovative and visually compelling materials. Responsibilities include designing and overseeing the production of print and digital materials that support the mission of both offices; maintain and cultivate the unique brand identities of each area; and serve as an admissions officer, actively participating in the review and selection of undergraduate applicants and other recruitment activities as assigned. Will report to the associate director of communications.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree; at least three years of college admissions or relevant experience; excellent design skills; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; project management experience; strong organizational and project management skills; initiative and self-direction; comfort working under deadlines; experience or interest in working with diverse populations; and a driver's license. PREFERRED : at least two years of communications experience in higher education or an agency environment, and experience in undergraduate admissions. Job #19360-7
