The Stockwell lab is seeking to recruit a Staff Associate Ii. Reporting to the PI, the incumbent will perform research using chemical probes of cell death and help discover new drugs and drug targets specifically in the area of ferroptosis sensitivity and resistance mechanisms; and contribute research findings to publications. The incumbent will also serve as a lab manager by handling administrative issues for the PI, ordering supplies and managing the budget; manage inventory of samples or data (i.e., tissue, core, MRIs, etc.); ensure that equipment or machinery is operating and maintained properly; coordinate meetings or events; assist with the preparation of materials for publications, funding, or compliance; and manage scheduling under the PI's direction to ensure that deadlines are met.
