Position is responsible for teaching a variety of CIT lecture courses in a combination of face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities with occasional off-site locations.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, faculty workload includes: student advising; service on a variety of committees; community service; and various departmental activities that may include course development and evaluation, mentoring adjunct faculty, and student outcome assessment.
Successful candidate must possess:
BA/BS in CIT or related field
Masters degree in CIT or related field preferred
College teaching experience preferred
3-5 years of experience in teaching or working in networking preferred
Industry certifications in CompTIA A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified Technology Associate (MTA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or even Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), preferred
Willingness to work collaboratively on the development of quality course materials and pedagogies designed to engage students in active learning processes
