ENVIRONMENT HEALTH AND SAFETY (EHS) TRAINING PROGRAM MANAGER , Environment, Health and Safety Office , to be responsible for all aspects of MIT's EHS Management System (EHS-MS) Training Program. Will ensure that existing program courses/presentations/materials meet current needs and plan effective measures to meet future requirements; oversee EHS training processes/courses/materials provided to members of the MIT community whose research, work, or study is encompassed by the EHS-MS; partner with EHS subject matter experts on training projects to develop and implement effective methods/courses to address their respective emerging EHS training needs; work with EHS senior leadership to measure and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the training program and provide management reports about EHS training; communicate about EHS training matters as requested; and perform other duties as needed.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in education, information technology, or relevant field; at least four years' training, instructional design, project management, or related experience; in-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning, and coaching); demonstrated experience using Articulate, Storyline, and Captivate for web-based training; experience developing and securing media to support classroom and web-based training; comprehensive knowledge of and experience applying ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements to training materials with multiple delivery methods; excellent communication skills and ability to acquire, synthesize, and communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences in presentations, written material, and training course materials; ability to plan, multitask, and manage time effectively; facility with computers and database software; knowledge and understanding of a professional discipline of instructional design and related disciplines; discretion and good judgment.
