IPR faculty conduct a wide array of studies that are relevant to health disparities, including the development and evaluation of state, national, and international networks for cancer, tobacco, and HIV prevention; large minority health centers and cancer prevention centers; and tobacco, obesity, and cancer prevention trials in multiethnic settings. The successful candidate is expected to develop his/her own vision for coordinating and expanding these efforts and will have post- doctoral administrative support to do so.
Applicants must have a commitment and evidence of high-quality teaching and mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong history of NIH funding, and a publication record that represents a significant impact on either health disparities or health behavior or both.
