The Department of Surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine seeks two (2) academic bariatric/minimally invasive surgeons to join the Division of Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery during the next 12 months. These faculty positions will be at the Assistant/Associate level depending on experience.
The First position will be to direct bariatric, minimally invasive and general surgery at Yale New Haven's main campus. This position will also direct Yale Bariatrics' foregut program and provide full continuum of foregut interventions including but not limited to Linx, Esophyx, Enterra, and POEM.
The second position will be to direct bariatric, minimally invasive and general surgery at one of our Yale New Health Network Hospitals.
Yale Medicine has a wide referral network of primary and specialty care physicians. We are seeking candidates with an academic orientation in clinical care and/or education. Candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to make contributions to the field of Bariatric Surgery. In addition to program planning and development, candidates should also have a background in quality assurance, educational and operational issues.
