The Yale University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, is seeking full-time Pediatric Transplant Hepatologist to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will join the Yale School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics faculty at the Assistant Professor rank in the Clinical or Clinician-Educator track, depending on interest and background. The liver transplant program at Yale University is a UNOS approved Pediatric program with excellent patient and graft survival. The applicant will work in collaboration with an experienced team, comprised of three transplant hepatologists and four transplant surgeons. The applicant will be involved in patient care, education, and research.
The Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition consists of 12 faculty members, 2 affiliated physicians and 4 APRNs, supported by nursing staff, clinical psychologists, social workers and dieticians. Our section provides state of the art care for general GI conditions as well as specialized care through a variety of multidisciplinary programs including Neurogastroenterology and Motility, Transplant Hepatology, Aerodigestive Disorders, Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Eosinophilic GI Disorders.
