The Data Auditor will learn and apply their understanding of information system capabilities to meet the department goals by analyzing and maintaining constituent data, collaborating with Gift Administration & Prospect Research, and creating efficient processes to ensure data integrity/data governance standards.
The primary responsibilities for this position are the following: - Analyzing, maintaining and enhancing constituent data; Preparing detailed reports and audits on database. - Staying current with internal data governance policies and procedures. - Contributing to best-in-class advancement culture through seeking and implementing industry best practices. - Contribute to team strategy to automate processes and systems more efficiently.

Education & Experience:
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Mathematics or equivalent education and work experience - Knowledge of higher education in an Advancement setting preferred, but not required. - Preference given to candidates with training in relational database concepts, data manipulation, and analytics/forecasting.
Experience: - minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience - Previous experience working in higher education or comparable complex organization - Experience using Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge or similarly complex CRM required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge & Skills - Proficient with MS Office. - Knowledge of the Raiser's Edge database preferred and/or experience with a similar CRM or database application - Understanding of cloud based/SaaS tools. - Knowledge of data and accounting principles and practices. Analysis and reporting of data. - Knowledge of business & management principles involved in strategic planning and data modeling (forecasting & predictive). - Proficient with Google Apps/G Suite. - Proficient with data manipulation/analytical tools such as RStudio, Python, SQL, VBA, Tableau, DOMO or other related tools. - Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
