Under the supervision of the PIs, with accountability to the Departmental Administrator, the candidate will be responsible for organizing and implementing research activities
Assist with the preparation, submission and maintenance of IRB protocols.
Assist with the preparation and submission of requests to obtain data and data acquisition.
Assist with development of manual of operating procedures and standard operating protocols for research studies.
Attend compliance training programs to ensure correct regulations are followed including compliance with all CU and NYPH policies and procedures related to research.
Organize and maintain study files including regulatory binders, study specific source documentation and other materials.
Coordinate and schedule regular research meetings and coordinate teleconferences with participating sites.
Assist PI in monitoring progress of research to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Maintain organization and communication across members of the study team.
Assist with planning and implementation of in-depth site visits.
Conduct surveys/interviews with study subjects.
Participate in coding of interview transcripts and field notes.
Participate in analysis of qualitative data.
Prepare and submit manuscripts.
Collect data, including data extraction of paper and electronic medical health records and databases.
Develop data forms and enter into databases.
Prepare data analysis, preparation and submission of manuscripts.
Attend to issues of data completeness.
Other duties as required.
This is a grant funded position
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and years of experience. Plus four years experience or combination of education and experience
Qualitative research experience highly preferred.
