Boston Children's Hospital's Department of Neurology is seeking a professional, well-organized team player to join the new Rosamund Stone Zander Translational Neuroscience Center (RSZ TNC). This position will assist in managing the administrative operations of the Center's clinical research programs. This individual will work with the Executive Director and service directors on the team. Join our expanding program and contribute to local, national and international efforts to improve the lives of children with neurological disorders and the families that care for them.
This Program Coordinator will be responsible for:
Coordinating activities and daily operations of the RSZ TNC services.
May prepare or assist in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Referring inquiries to others as needed.
May preparing or assisting in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
May be reviewing applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or making decisions pertaining to program.
Drafting written communication, website language and promotional literature.
May be assisting in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinating logistics, scheduling and participating communications.
Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
To qualify, you must have:
An Associate's degree with 1 year of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Experience in data management (REDCap) preferred
