**This is a full-time benefited project-based role anticipated to last through August 2022.
The Human Resources Manager - Line of Business ("HRM") is responsible for the execution of the HR/ODL strategy as it is applied to the line of Business ("LOB") and for the coordination and daily oversight of the HR/ODL advice, services and initiatives provided by the Center of Expertise ("COE")/HR Shared Service Center ("HRSSC"). While the HRM demonstrates an understanding of broad Cedars-Sinai values and objectives, he/she focuses on local business operational needs, with implementation of local HR/ODL services in alignment with broader Cedars-Sinai values, objectives and initiatives. This includes diagnosing and addressing local workforce issues and challenges, partnering with local management to provide advice and services, and reinforcing desired leadership and management practices.
The HRM has the responsibility of acquiring business acumen which includes understanding clinical / business practices, change management, fiscal accountability, productivity, and regulatory compliance. She/he will exhibit leadership, humanism, and professionalism in the management of her/his department. She/he demonstrates motivation and creativity and serves as a catalyst for effective changes within HR/ODL and the institutional level.
Additionally, the HRM is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the trends and forces that shape the health care delivery system and other emerging issues in health care. In addition to demonstrate flexibility and initiative to effectively lead change efforts to respond to environmental or organizational change.
Bachelor's in business administration, Human Resources, or related fields.
HR certification (SHRM, PHR or SPHR) strongly preferred.
7 years of experience leading a business unit or operating in a HR generalist/business partner related capacity.
3 years of experience managing a team in Human Resources or related fields.
