SENIOR POLICY ASSOCIATE , Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)-North America (2 openings), to help reduce poverty by ensuring policy is informed by scientific evidence. Will support J-PAL North America's ongoing partnerships with researchers, policymakers, implementing partners, and philanthropic partners. The primary tasks will involve stakeholder engagement, evaluation support, project and process management, policy writing and outreach, and capacity building.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's or master's degree in economics, public policy or administration, statistics, or a related field; four years of relevant experience, which may include experience gained through relevant internships or policy/research work; demonstrated training in statistics and quantitative methods; understanding of impact evaluation; familiarity with economics; knowledge of social policy, public administration, and program implementation; excellent project management and oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences; attention to detail; ability to take ownership of work independently and collaborate effectively with other members of the team.
