Responsible to the Director of Financial Accounting for performing tasks related to financial statement and report preparation to include coordination of the annual audit process with the Division of State Audit. The duties include coordinating and overseeing the preparation of annual reports submitted to the Tennessee Board of Regents and any financial reports submitted to the Board of Directors. It requires independently researching, reconciling, balancing and maintaining responsibility of the financial records behind the accounting reports. The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for performing an annual review of ETSU financial procedures, along with making recommendations, coordinating implementation of those changes, and communicating them to the university community.
